History of the Breed: An American breed developed by crossing small Smooth Fox Terriers with other toy breeds including the Miniature Pinscher,
Italian Greyhound, Chihuahua and Manchester Terrier.
Some experts believe this breed originated in England and was developed by selectively breeding
only smaller Smooth Fox Terriers to reach the toy size.
General Appearance: A compact toy breed that resembles a toy version of the Smooth Fox Terrier. The body is square in proportion.
The head is wedge shaped when viewed from the front and side. The eyes are dark and round and set well apart.
The ears are pointed and erect, v-shaped, close together and placed well up on the sides of the head. The deep chest is oval-shaped with a well-sprung rib cage reaching to the elbow.
The coat is short and smooth and the tail is short and carried upright.
