History of the Breed: Originated in Australia as a ratter and toy companion dog. It was developed from the crossing of the Yorkshire Terrier
and the Australian Terrier and likely other Terriers.
General Appearance: A Toy Terrier breed. The head is long and wedge shaped. The almond shaped eyes are small and dark.
The V-shaped ears are small, set high, and carried erect. The nose is black.
The chest is medium wide and deep enough to extend down to the elbows. The body is low set. The tail is docked and set high. The body is
covered in a single coat of long silky hair measuring 5 to 6 inches in length.
