History of the Breed: Eurasiers originated in Germany in 1960, when the founder, Julius Wipfel, set out together with Charlotte
Baldamus and a small group of enthusiasts to create a breed with the best qualities of the Chow-Chow and the Wolfspitz. The initial combination
of the breeds resulted in what was first called "Wolf-Chow" and then, twelve years later, after crossing with a Samoyed, was renamed "Eurasier"
(Eurasian).
The breed was recognized by the FCI in 1973
General Appearance: The Eurasier is a medium-size, Spitz-type dog with prick ears and a medium bone structure. The coat
is medium length and soft with the tail carried over the back.

Weight 40-70 pounds.
Coat: A Spitz type double coat, with the hair standing out from the body. The tail is bushy and the back of the front legs and breeches
are feathered in long hair. The face, muzzle, ears, and front of the legs are covered in short hair.
