History of the Breed: The Cesky Terrier is a small terrier originating in Czechoslovakia. A recent breed, it was first recognized by
the FCI in 1963. They are a cross between the Sealyham Terrier and the Scottish Terrier. The Cesky was developed to hunt vermin in their dens,
especially rats, badgers, and foxes.
General Appearance: A short legged, long haired, well muscled Terrier that has smallish drop ears, with a strong straight 7" tail.
The dog resembles a Sealyham Terrier.

Coat: The coat is thick and of a silky luster over the whole body
Color: Two basic colors either blue-gray or light coffee-brown
Grooming needs: Medium, the Cesky should be trimmed regularly, leaving the hair long on the stomach and legs and around the face to
form the moustache, beard, and eyebrows.

family pet.
